A pork butt is actually cut from the shoulder of the pig! It is a less tender cut and is typically used to make pulled pork, but can also be roasted, cut into steaks, or used for braising and stewing. It’s best when cooked long and slow, which makes it tender and brings out the flavor of the meat.

Our heritage pigs are raised in the woods with a variety of natural food choices, as well as fermented GMO- and soy-free grain. This produces a wonderful flavor, different from store-bought pork.
